
INPG-PAGORA (France), PAGORA (Ecole internationale du papier, de la communication imprimée et des biomatériaux), the French School for Paper, Printing and Converting Engineers, is one of the ten engineer schools of INPG (Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble). A total of 72 permanent persons are working at INPG-PAGORA, and among them 50 persons having a private status and 22 who are civil servants. The persons having a private status belong to AGEFPI, which is an association, and is a third party of INPG-PAGORA. INPG-PAGORA is training students at the master level (total of 170 students) and at PhD level (total of 25 students) and is also doing research in five research teams: Chemical Processes applied to the Manufacture of Cellulosic Pulps, Papermaking Engineering, Paper Physics, Finishing and Converting and Graphic Art Science and Technologies.
Department contributing to the execution of the project:
The areas of expertise of the Graphic Science and Technology department cover all the fields of the graphic chain : the materials (inks, varnishes, plates,… ), their implementation in the printing processes, and the control and the simulation of these processes.
