KMS Automation is a small / medium sized German manufacturer for specialized production equipment, mainly for the electronics and automotive industry. Singles machines as well as fully automated production lines for high-throughput production are developed and manufactured according to the specific customer’s needs. An outstanding expertise exists in the field of technological equipment for the multi-layer-ceramics (MLC) technology, where KMS (and its predecessors, respectively) have accompanied the evolution of this technique and finally have been active for decades. Regarding low temperature cofired ceramics (LTCC) equipment, the leading European manufacturers are among our customers. KMS currently has 56 employees and achieved a turnover of 14 Mio. Euro in 2006.

A special department, the KMS Kemmer Technology Center is involved in the research and development work within the project.
