Main activities are as follows: materials development in the energy field; providing, implementing and determining the behaviour of new scientific and technical data and techniques in the processing of materials; developing testing/monitoring methods for the benefits of industry and society; designing and developing materials and processes to ensure their transfer to industry and offering expertise and innovative assistance.

Description of the department involved in the project: The laboratory of tries/Validation (DTH/LEV) is mainly involved in the development of manufacturing technologies for applications in the field of new energies. Applications are developed in the field of batteries, micro fuel cell, thermoelectric devices. Technologies developed are essentially related to powder metallurgy processes: die pressing (micro), powder injection moulding, inkjet printing, …

The laboratory represents 30 people permanent staff involved in several industrial programmes.
