Extending the process limits of laser polymer welding

PolybrightPOLYBRIGHT is an FP7 Project on Extending the Process Limits of Laser Polymer Welding with High-Brilliance Beam Sources.

MultiPlatA new FP7 project started on 1st December 2009. The MultiPlat project aims to develop biomimetic proton conductive membranes with nanometer thickness (nanomembranes) through the convergence of a number of fields.

Nanocharacterization techniques & tools

This first EUMINAfab winter school at Minatec, Grenoble is aimed at Ph.D students, post-docs and engineers involved in micro and nanotechnologies and who wish to acquire a global and general overview of some of the most widespread nanocharacterisation techniques, such as SEM, TEM and XPS.

3µP: Multi-Reaction, Multi-Sample Microfluidic Platform

Two former partners of 4M (Fraunhofer IZM, FEMTO-ST) have joined forces to develop a microfluidic platform for multiple samples with multiple analytes to run diagnostic analysis.

Recent developments in printing processes such as inkjet printing and screen printing: application to microelectronic and ceramic.

EUMINAfab starts operation.

EUMINAfab is the first European Research Infrastructure on multimaterial micro and nanotechnology. It offers open and no-cost access to state of the art fabrication and characterisation technologies for a multitude of functional materials. EUMINAfab combines the scientific expertise and technological capacities of 10 leading European institutions from industry and academia, creating a unique source of knowledge and capabilities in micro nano technologies for European researchers from industry or academia.
